This study was conducted to understand the strategies used by prison officers in providing da'wah to inmates, especially to recidivists at the Class II B Detention Center Kraksaan, Probolinggo, East Java. This study used qualitative research methods. In collecting data and information, the researcher made observations first, then conducted interviews with several informants using the purposive sampling technique. The results of the study show that; the da'wah strategy is carried out by prison officers to inmates using three strategies; First, the educational da'wah strategy from this strategy, there are many educational activities and activities, such as recitation of books, counseling, reading the Koran. Second, da'wah bil al-hal, with refraction to the goodness exemplified by the officers. The third strategy is cultural da'wah; this da'wah guides the form of development skills and skills which are expected to be helpful when leaving the detention house later.

Intellectual and Ideological Dimensions as Predictors of Inmates' Private Practice Religiosity

Religiosity is critical in improving a person's self-control ability and preventing a person from committing a crime. However, studies of the dimensions of religiosity that can play a role in private religious practice are still limited. This study aims to find the relationship between the dimensions of intellectual and ideology with private practice in religiosity. This study involved three hundred samples of prisoners with measurements of intellectual dimensions, ideology, and private practices using the Centrality of Religiosity Scale (CRS). The correlation test concluded that intellectual and ideology are significantly associated with private practice. The intellectual dimension shows a more potent effect size on private practice than the ideology dimension. This study recommends the need for intellectual and ideological religious guidance programs for inmates in correctional institutions as an effort to increase self-control and prevent the residivisme

Christian Religious Education plays a central role inovercoming mental blocks that often arise in early childhood. Children at this stage are prone to mental barriers that can hinder their cognitive and emotional development. This research aims to review the extent to which Christian Religious Education can be effective in reducing the negative impact of mental blocks on early childhood. Through the literature review method, this research approaches the analysis of the positive impact of Christian religious teachings on mental blocks. The result of the research revealed that the approach, which focuses on Christian values, can help children overcome fear, doubt, and self-limitation. By minimizing these barries, Christian religions Education can be an effective strategy in ensuring children can develop their full potential from an early age. Its implications streach into personal and social development, creating a solid foundation for children’s holistic growth in the face of the challenges that lie ahead.Keywords: Christian Religious Education; mental block; early childhoodAbstrakPendidikan Agama Kristen memegang peranan sentral dalam mengatasi mental block yang sering muncul pada anak usia dini. Anak-anak pada tahap ini rentan mengalami hambatan mental yang dapat menghambat perkembangan kognitif dan emosional mereka. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengulas sejauh mana Pendidikan Agama Kristen dapat efektif dalam mengurangi dampak negatif dari mental block pada anak-anak usia dini. Melalui metode tinjauan literatur, penelitian ini mendekati analisis dampak positif ajaran agama Kristen terhadap mental block. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa pendekatan yang diterapkan, yang berfokus pada nilai-nilai Kristen, mampu membantu anak-anak mengatasi rasa takut, ragu, dan keterbatasan diri. Dengan meminimalisir hambatan-hambatan ini, Pendidikan Agama Kristen mampu menjadi strategi yang efektif dalam memastikan anak-anak dapat mengembangkan potensi penuh mereka sejak usia dini. Implikasinya merentang ke dalam perkembangan pribadi dan sosial, menciptakan dasar yang kokoh untuk pertumbuhan holistik anak-anak dalam menghadapi tantangan yang ada di masa depan.Kata Kunci: Pendidikan Agama Kristen; mental block; anak usia dini.
