C. Nicolaou at TheScripps Research Institute (USA) in 2009. He moved with Nicolaou to the Institute of Chemical and Engineering Sciences in Singapore before he took up his current position as aP rofessor at the State Key Laboratory of Bioorganic and Natural Products Chemistry at Shanghai Institute of Organic Chemistry in 2010. Li develops strategies for the total synthesis of complex natural products.His group recently presented total syntheses of echitamine,a kuammiline,r hazicine,and pseudoakuammigine in aCommunication in Angewandte Chemie.
