<p align="left"><strong>Abstrak</strong></p><p>Seni budaya berperan penting dalam pengembangan daya cipta, kepekaan, dan kesadaran sosial. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis efektivitas metode demonstrasi dalam pembelajaran seni tari dengan pendekatan supervisi teman sejawat. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas dengan pendekatan kuantitatif di SMAN 2 IV Koto Kabupaten Agam, Sumatera Barat. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas XI IPS 5 yang berjumlah 15 orang. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa lembar observasi, dokumentasi, dan angket. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui observasi terhadap interaksi guru dan siswa selama proses pembelajaran serta dokumentasi dengan mengumpulkan karya seni tari. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa siswa terkendala dalam pembelajaran, namun setelah diterapkan metode demonstrasi dan pendekatan supervisi teman sejawat, terjadi peningkatan signifikan terhadap antusiasme dan keterampilan siswa. Supervisi teman sejawat berperan dalam memberikan dukungan, umpan balik, dan motivasi kepada sesama siswa sehingga meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran dan lingkungan pembelajaran yang positif dan produktif. Dalam konteks pendidikan seni, supervisi teman sejawat dengan metode demonstrasi dijadikan alternatif yang efektif untuk meningkatkan pembelajaran. Pada siklus pertama, tidak semua siswa memiliki keterampilan yang tinggi karena masih ada yang belum fokus dan sibuk dengan kegiatan lain. Namun, setelah siklus kedua dilaksanakan melalui tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, hampir semua siswa mengikuti pembelajaran dengan antusias sehingga menguasai keterampilan tari.</p><p align="left"><strong>Kata Kunci : </strong>Supervisi, Metode Demonstrasi, Keterampilan</p><p align="left"> </p><p align="left"><strong><em>Abstract</em></strong></p><p><em>Cultural arts play an important role in the development of creativity, sensitivity and social awareness. This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the demonstration method in learning dance with a peer supervision approach. This research is a Classroom Action Research with a quantitative approach at SMAN 2 IV Koto, Agam Regency, West Sumatra. The research subjects were 15 students of class XI IPS</em><em> </em><em>5. The instruments used are observation sheets, documentation, and questionnaires. Data collection techniques were carried out through observing the interaction of teachers and students during the learning process as well as documentation by collecting dance works of art. The results showed that students were constrained in learning, but after applying the demonstration method and peer supervision approach, there was a significant increase in student enthusiasm and skills. Peer supervision plays a role in providing support, feedback, and motivation to fellow students thereby increasing learning outcomes and a positive and productive learning environment. In the context of art education, peer supervision using the demonstration method is used as an effective alternative to improve learning. In the first cycle, not all students have high skills because some are still not focused and busy with other activities. However, after the second cycle was carried out through the stages of planning, implementing, observing, and reflecting, almost all students participated enthusiastically in learning so that they mastered dance skills</em>.</p><p align="left"><strong><em>Keyword : </em></strong><em>Supervision, Demonstration Methods, Skills</em></p>
