This research came up from the unavailability of the physics teaching materials containing the local wisdom of Tabalong Regency society, South Kalimantan, and the less optimal character education in the learning process. Therefore, the research and development on the physics teaching materials based on the local wisdom of Tabalong regency, South Kalimantan to train saraba kawa character were conducted. The objective of this study was to produce feasible physics teaching materials integrated with the local wisdom based on the aspects of validity, practicality, effectivity, and character achievement. This research type is a research and development using ADDIE model. The subjects of the try out were 36 grade X students of MIPA in 4 SMA Negeri 2 Tanjung Tabalong Regency. The instruments used in this study were validation sheet, response questionnaire, student achievement results, and character observation sheet. The results showed that: (1) the validity of the teaching materials based on its content and appearance was in a good category, (2) the practicality of the teaching material categorized as very practical, (3) the effectiveness of the medium categorized as very practical, (4) and the achievement of saraba kawa character categorized as very good. It concluded that the physics teaching materials based on the local wisdom to train saraba kawa character is feasible for physics learning.

The aim of this study was to describe and to test the effect of problem solving learning model oriented toward Balinese local wisdom (PSBLW) and type of mathematics problems (open and closed problems) on the ability to solve mathematics problem of the fifth grade students of elementary in Singaraja. This quasi-experimental research used non-equivalent control group design with pretest and posttest. The data were analyzed with factorial 2x2 analysis of covariance (Anacova). The sample consisted of the fifth grade students of Elementary School with the total of 152 students spread into 4 classes. The sample was selected by cluster random sampling. The data were collected using mathematics problem solving ability test at the 5% significance level (α = 0.05). The statistical analysis was done with the aid of SPSS 16.0 for Windows. The results showed that (1) the ability, may to solve mathematics problems of the students who learned through PSBLW is higher than those who learned through direct instructional model; (2) the students’ability to solve problems facilitated with open mathematics problems was higher than that with closed mathematics problems. The conclusion is local wisdom-oriented problem solving learning model efective to improve mathematical problem solving ability.

Corporate social responsibility disclosure is part of the service of accounting performance linked to social, economic, environmental dimensions of company program which can play a keen role in developing stakeholders (Society, government, stockholders) trust as well as image of the company. Nevertheless, such perspectives are debatable since there is less agreement on the very purpose of corporate social responsibility of companies. The purpose of this research is to examine relationship between corporate social responsibility disclosures to reduce the disparities in the company performance. Following an interpretive research philosophy, the study used descriptive study design of qualitative research methodology. Design followed 10 years data from a mining company on corporate social responsibility disclosure and did the content analysis from secondary literature. The results of the qualitative study show that the accountability is closely knit with company responsibility which intern influence society, business image and economic development. Research extends practical, policy, theoretical implication of stakeholders and accountability of corporate social responsibility disclosure.
