“…Katsuura area, Shikoku.-Lower Cretaceous deposits, ranging from the Barremian to Albian stages, are exposed in the Katsuura area, Tokushima Prefecture, Shikoku. The strata trend in the E-W direction, forming a syncline, and are divided into the Tatsukawa, Hanoura, Hoji, and Fujikawa formations, in ascending stratigraphic order (see Nakai, 1968;Matsukawa and Eto, 1987).
