The purpose of the study is to find out the change in the tactical indicators of the competitive activity of student teams in 3x3 basketball under the influence of the program for improving tactical preparedness. Research organization. The pedagogical experiment was conducted with the involvement of qualified teams of 3x3 basketball players of the experimental group (n=12) and the control group (n=12). At the beginning of the experiment, we analyzed 64 games for the experimental and control groups with the determination of quantitative and qualitative data of the indicated indicators of competitive activity in 3x3 basketball. At the end of the experiment, 56 games were analyzed for the experimental group and 62 games for the control group according to the indicated indicators of competitive activity. The following indicators were determined: general group (number of points scored per game, total and "net" playing time), adjacent group (total number of rebounds, number of rebounds on the "own" and "alien" boards, the number of ball losses and the number of made and interceptions), shooting group (number of attacks and throws, number of one-point, two-point and free throws, their effectiveness and efficiency), technical-tactical group (number of individual and group tactical actions, their effectiveness and efficiency, number of group tactical actions of different duration with differentiation by the cost of the throw). Research results. At the end of the pedagogical experiment in the control group, there were significant changes in 13 of the 59 indicators that were studied. In the experimental group, probable changes were recorded in 35 out of 59 indicators of competitive activity of qualified teams in 3x3 basketball. These include more points scored, overall attack efficiency, better two-point shooting efficiency, etc. Intergroup differences at the end of the pedagogical experiment were established in 36 out of 59 indicators, namely in the time characteristics of the game, overall efficiency, effectiveness of two-point shots, effectiveness and efficiency of group offensive actions. Conclusions. As a result of the study, it was established that in the experimental group, the indicators of the number of points scored on average per game increased by 1.5 points (p<0.01), the total and "net" time of the game decreased, which indicates an increase in the intensity of the game. In the experimental group, a smaller number of ball pickups on the "alien" shield and the number of ball losses were recorded. According to the results of the pedagogical experiment, a significant decrease in the quantitative performance of individual tactical actions and an increase in the number of group tactical actions in the experimental group were recorded.
