Wanson and co-workers (1950) reported a microfilaricidal treatment of 42 patients with M. streptocerca infection with diethylcarbamazine (DEC); their findings were confirmed by Duke (1957) and Meyers et al (1972;1978). Meyers et al (1978) also reported efficacy of DEC against adult filaria.…”
