Stress, Anxiety, Depression among Nurses Caring for COVID-19 Patients in Babol, Iran: A logestic Regression

Abstract: Introduction: Nurses who are involved in the caring of COVID-19 patients, are at risk of mental distress. “…Due to a shortage of literatures related to quarantine hotel employees, a direct comparison is not possible. However, when comparing the results to other similar studies, this research evidences that the prevalence of depression in quarantine hotel employees is higher than the general population of the Philippines 20 (16.9%), children and adolescents in China 15 (17.66%), college students in Spain 19 (18.4%), university staff in Southwest Ethiopia 28 (22.9%), doctors in India 14 (34.9%), and nurses in Iran 12 (43%). In contrast, the prevalence of depression in quarantine hotel employees is lower than college and university students in Bangladesh 16 (46.92%), Bangladeshi citizens 22 (47.2%), and healthcare workers in China 18 (50.4%).…”
