Abstract:Stress granules (SGs) are membrane-less aggregates that form in response to various cellular stimuli through a process called liquid–liquid phase separation (LLPS). Stimuli such as heat shock, osmotic stress, oxidative stress, and infections can induce the formation of SGs, which play crucial roles in regulating gene expression to help cells adapt to stress conditions.
