Abstract:In 2 children, both 8 years of age, a subarachnoid hemorrhage (SAH) was the singular onset of a tumor in the pineal region. The SAH was repeated three times in the first case, in which the tumor had a rapid growth with exitus within less than 3 years, while no other ulterior hemorrhage and no neurological deficits are seen after VP shunt within a period of 4 years in the second case.
