“…As the pump power increases from 159 to 259 mW, the UC emission intensities significantly increase without saturation phenomenon. Moreover, as confirmed by previous reports, 29,36 it is known that the following formula can be adopted to describe the relationship between luminescence intensity ( I ) and pump power ( P ), as defined below: I ∝ P n or log( I ) ∝ n log( P )To determine the n value, the plots of log( I ) vs . log( P ), which were obtained from the detected UC emission spectra, are depicted in Fig.…”

“…Liang et al reported that the intermediate level could collect near-infrared light for improving photocatalysis, and Zhang et al described that the intermediate state of the host is constructed to improve the upconversion luminescence. However, the upconversion red emission intensity of Ba 2 ScAlO 5 :Yb/Er phosphors is still low and cannot satisfy the optical temperature measurement in vivo under 980 nm low-power-density excitation …”

“…In 1990, Soviet Union scientists obtained the single-crystal structure of Ba 2 ScAlO 5 and found that the crystal structure of Ba 2 ScAlO 5 has two types, alpha-Ba 2 ScAlO 5 and beta-Ba 2 ScAlO 5 . Wang et al pointed out that (Ba, Ca) 2 ScAlO 5 formed after the substitution of Ba atom in Ba 2 ScAlO 5 by Ca atom have a vital role in the scandia-doped impregnated cathode . The excellent electron-emitting properties of (Ba, Ca) 2 ScAlO 5 were further demonstrated because of the unique perovskite structure. , By co-doping the rare earths of erbium (Er) and ytterbium (Yb), the Ba 2 ScAlO 5 exhibits excellent up-conversion luminescence performance. , Recently, the β-Ba 2 ScAlO 5 :Eu 3+ red-emitting phosphors activated by UV light were successfully prepared . Although extensive research has been conducted on the luminescent materials of Ba 2 ScAlO 5 , this perovskite structure with co-doping Ca ion [(Ba, Ca) 2 ScAlO 5 ] has not yet been utilized in red-emitting phosphors.…”
