Strong Splitting Bisimulation Equivalence

Abstract: We present ACP c , a process algebra with conditional expressions in which the conditions are taken from a Boolean algebra, and extensions of this process algebra with mechanisms for condition evaluation. We confine ourselves to finitely branching processes. This restriction makes it possible to present ACP c in a concise and intuitively clear way, and to bring the notion of splitting bisimulation equivalence and the issue of condition evaluation in process algebras with conditional expressions to the forefron… Show more

“…However, there are several extensions of ACP that include conditional expressions of some kind. As a matter of fact, ACP cc is a variant of a recent extension of ACP with conditional expressions called ACP c [11,12]. Earlier extensions of ACP that include conditional expressions can be found in [6,2,14,3].…”

“…In this section, we shortly review ACP c . For a comprehensive overview, the reader is referred to [12,13]. The axioms of ACP c are given in Appendix A. ACP c is an extension of ACP with conditional expressions in which the conditions are taken from a Boolean algebra.…”

“…2 In the next decade, annual growth of wind turbines is estimated to be 15-30% as many national economies seek to implement alternative energy sources and reduce their dependence on petroleum oil. 3 Wind energy remains one of the leading technologies for providing clean renewable energy. Wind turbine original equipment manufacturers are building equipment to be bigger with much larger power outputs than their predecessors to meet fast growing demand.…”
