Structural and electrical properties of sulfur-doped graphene oxide/graphite oxide composite

Abstract: The sulfur-doped graphene oxide/graphite oxide composite material was synthesized in an original way, and a detailed study of its structural arrangement was carried out using XRD and Raman spectroscopy. Negative differential resistive properties of the obtained material were observed on the current-voltage curve at room temperature as a result of limited proton hopping through water molecules adsorbed on the hydrophilic surface of graphene oxide layers in the presence of a sulfur-enriched graphite oxide compon… Show more

“…There have been a number of notable efforts made by other researchers to achieve this aim, as well as challenges. Graphene materials have been added in different weight and volume percent amounts to a variety of polymer matrices ranging from thermoplastic to thermoset, with encouraging results in each case [ 236 , 237 , 238 , 239 , 240 , 241 , 242 , 243 ]. Low-temperature methods such as melt blending, solution casting, in situ processing, and chemical vapour deposition may be used to assess electrical conductivity.…”

“…One of them -the balance -has a low sensitivity to infrared light and allows you to get a low value of the short-circuit current. The other condition -non-balance -is highly sensitive to infrared light and gives a fairly high short-circuit current value [4]. The transition from equilibrium to non-equilibrium state is carried out under the illumination of short-wave light due to the trapping in the space charge region of the Zn1-xCdxS layer and the accumulation of non-equilibrium holes in the traps.…”

“…The advantage of hydrothermal approach is the simply control of the amount of Gd dopant by adjusting the concentration of gadolinium precursors in the reaction chamber. The doping of MWCNTs with Gd can be realized at respectively low temperatures [7] using previously tested methods for doping graphene materials [8].…”
