Structural and Magnetic Properties of “Thick” Co-rich Microwires Produced by the Ulitovsky-Taylor Method

Abstract: The structural and magnetic properties of as-cast and annealed Co-rich microwires in a glass shell with the diameter of D = 125 μm and the diameter of the amorphous metallic core of d = 50-90 μm, produced by the modernized Ulitovsky-Taylor method, have been investigated. The saturation field H S and the coercive force H C of the samples were found to depend on annealing temperature.
