“…The structure of Mn x Zn 1‐ x Fe 2 O 4 ( x =0.2, 0.4, 0.6, 0.8 and 1) nanoferrites were analyzed by FTIR as shown in Figure 3 The two absorption bands ν 1 at around 560 cm −1 , ν 2 at around 420 cm −1 were observed, which matched well with the characteristic peak of spinel ferrite structure. The absorption bands ν 1 were attributed to the intrinsic vibration of tetrahedral complexes (Mn−O or/and Zn−O), and the absorption bands ν 2 were attributed to the intrinsic vibration of octahedral sited metal ion [42] . As can be seen from Figure 3 the absorption bands ν 1 was red shifted with the enhancement of Mn 2+ ions concentration.…”
