“…[20,30]. When cobalt ferrite particles are added, absorption peaks due to the stretching vibration of the metal-oxygen bonds at the tetrahedral and octahedral sites is visible between 500 and 700 cm − 1 , which is in clear agreement with the XRD crystal structure, and the above bands are well matched with the literature [31]. With increase in the ller concentration in the polymer matrix, there is an increase in the -phase intensity along with a decrease in the α-phase intensity.…”

“…The deconvoluted peaks of Co-2p contain the spin-orbit doublets of Co-2p 3/2 and Co-2p 1/2 associated by satellite peaks, as shown in figure 8(b). The two de-convoluted peaks of Co-2p 3/2 attribute to Co 2+ in the octahedral (O h ) and tetrahedral (T d ) sites [102]. Moreover, the core spectra of Mg-1 s in figure 8(c) indicate the presence of a single peak at around 1303 eV in samples F and C, and around 1305 eV in sample A, which is related to Mg 2+ ions [103,104].…”

“…In contrast, Co II and Fe III are randomly dispersed when the material is synthesized as a nanostructured material (γ = 0.66). In the literature, the inversion degree of nanostructured CoFe 2 O 4 prepared using various methods was measured using different techniques ( 57 Fe-Mössbauer spectroscopy, EXAFS, neutron diffraction), and the values ranged from 0.68 to 0.76 [ 48 , 49 , 50 , 51 , 52 ].…”
