Abstract: Staphylococcus aureus causes a wide range of infections, from mild skin conditions to severe, life‐threatening diseases. Bacteriophage endolysins exhibit a selective capacity to degrade the peptidoglycan layer of Gram‐positive bacteria, making promising biotherapeutic agents against antibiotic‐resistant infections.
