Farmers' engagement in agribusiness institutional activities has largely been confined to production activities, and has not been fully optimized. Similarly, the role of agricultural extension workers in providing institutional assistance has been narrowly scoped, mostly limited to government-initiated programs focusing on infrastructure development and production enhancement. Human capital, a vital factor for agribusiness development, has been largely overlooked. This study, therefore, seeks to investigate the influence of human capital components on the strengthening of horticultural agribusiness institutions, with farmer participation and coordination between farmer institutions as mediating factors. The research was conducted in the Uluere Sub-district, Bantaeng District, South Sulawesi Province, Indonesia, a region known for horticultural agribusiness development. Data from 120 randomly selected respondents were analyzed using Structural Equation Modelling (SEM) to accomplish the research objective. The findings revealed that leadership, a component of human capital, has a direct, positive, and statistically significant influence on institutional strengthening. However, participation does not serve as a mediator between human capital components and the strengthening of horticultural agribusiness institutions. The variable of coordination function partially mediates between leadership and institutional strengthening, while the effectiveness of teamwork fully mediates the impact on institutional strengthening.

M-Paspor is a new version of the APAPO application launched at the end of 2021. Since the launch of the M-Paspor application, Indonesian citizens have been directed to submit passport queue applications through the M-Paspor. Batam City is a city that is on international shipping routes and borders directly with Singapore and Malaysia. With these advantages, many Indonesian citizens travel through the City of Batam, causing passport applications in the City of Batam to increase. This research aims to analyze the success of the M-Passport application in the City of Batam using the DeLone and McLean model. The method used in this research is a mixed method of qualitative and quantitative, with 30 qualitative data and 500 quantitative data collected. This research utilizes SPSS and AMOS technology to test validity, reliability, SEM, descriptive statistics, and R Square. The results obtained from this research show that all dependent variables have a positive effect on the independent variables with R Square values obtained as much as 61.3%, 58.9%, and 61.9%. By conducting this research, it is hoped that it can help M-Paspor application developers and the TPI Batam Class I Immigration Office to pay more attention to the quality of information, systems, and services from M-Paspor to improve increase public user satisfaction in public services.

Conventionally, public transportation has been the responsibility of the government. In developing countries, however, government-provided public transportation is often inadequate: people’s mobility needs are best met by private modes, such as shared auto-rickshaws. In India, auto-rickshaws serve as a popular last-mile transportation alternative as well as a public transportation substitute. The mode share of auto-rickshaws in major Indian cities is significant. Electrifying this mode will certainly result in a significant reduction in air pollution levels. It is therefore imperative to identify the factors which influence rickshaw operators (ROs)’ willingness to adopt battery-operated rickshaws (BORs) in India. The present study aims to identify and explore the factors that contribute to the adaptability of battery electric vehicles in India and measure the satisfaction level of ROs with the selected factors. By using structural equation modeling, the present research found that, from the viewpoint of 478 ROs, vehicle-related attributes and economy-related attributes are most influential on the adaptability of BORs. Furthermore, the one-way analysis of variance revealed that willingness to adopt BORs is significantly related to the age of the ROs. From the standpoint of government, as well as electric vehicle manufacturers, this study would be helpful in understanding the tastes, expectations, and needs of ROs if they adopt BORs.
