Abstract:Clusters represent intermediate states between isolated atoms and bulk solids. They serve as model systems to elucidate the physical properties of compounds from the atomic or molecular scale to the macroscopic bulk phase. Here, we perform thorough structure searches of neutral boron doped nitrogen clusters by Crystal structural anaLYsis by Particle Swarm Optimization (CALYPSO) cluster structural prediction and density functional theory (DFT) calculations. The calculated results indicate that the ground state … Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
