Abstract:This paper describes the results of the structural survey on wooden traditional row houses in Kyoto including vacant houses. Through the investigation, the structural features including the seismic performance of the row houses were revealed. We analyzed the influence when only one house of the same row house was demolished or reinforced. Finally, we investigated the differences in transition of temperature and humidity between the occupied house and the vacant house of the same row house.
