Abstract:The structural, optical, and electrical properties of SmCrO 3 doped on the two cation sites were studied using electron probe x-ray microanalysis, ellipsometry, and conductivity measurements. The results for the Sm 0.8 Ca 0.2 Cr 0.92 Cu 0.08 O 3 solid solution demonstrate that hydrogen reduction at 1270 or 1620 K produces significant microstructural changes and leads to Ca 2+ or Cu 2+ segregation at grain boundaries. Both doping and hydrogen reduction influence the electrical and optical properties of samarium… Show more
scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
