Structural optimization method of foldable active‐matrix organic light‐emitting diode panel based on mechanical theory

Abstract: The multineutral plane phenomenon of foldable panel can obviously reduce the strain of the active-matrix organic light-emitting diode (AMOLED) panel after being bent, but it also complicates the optimization of the panel structure.Considering the force balance at the axis of symmetry after the panel was folded, this paper established the basic theory of AMOLED panel structure optimization, which indicated the direction of structure optimization of the panel. Then, the theory was validated by numerical simulati… Show more

“…Moreover, the research and analysis of pollution and biodegradability should be strengthened, and there should be a quantitative index for the stimulation of the human body, so that the environment and human health can be protected while satisfying the use performance. At present, electronic products are developing in the direction of small size, curved touch screen technology is becoming mature 118 . In the future, the foldable panel is expected to be an important adhibition of the flexible AMOLED in the next generation of mobile phones 119 . Touch display screens will develop in the direction of integrated manufacturing of protective glass, touch panels, and LCM.…”

“…As shown in figure 6 (a), with the increase of the thickness of the CWF layer, the strain value of LE11 direction of brittle layers decrease slightly. This is because the change of the thickness of the CWF layer adjusts the strain neutral layer of the module (7,8), thus changing the strain of the brittle layers. As shown in figure 6 (b), with the increase of the thickness of the CWF layer, the strain of the CWF layer increases, so that the strain of the connected OCA1 layer increases, finally leads to the increase of the stress of OCA1.…”

“…However, the structure of the screen group is not easy to be deformed and warped, and the flatness recovered after folding is the technical difficulty of the flexible screen outside and inside folding [2]. Depending on the screen testing, there are problems of long time cycle and high cost [3]. Therefore, this paper established a simulation model of the flexible screen through Abaqus software to analyze its mechanical properties under multi-cycle bending.…”
