Abstract:Fictive temperature dependence of refractive index, density, and Raman spectra of commercial dense crown optical glass widely used for lens production is investigated. It is found that the main peak in Raman spectra shifts higher with increasing the fictive temperature. As well as density and refractive index, this peak position has linear relationship with the fictive temperature. Relaxation of Raman spectra is similar with that of refractive index, and they are different from that of density. For the compari… Show more

scite is a Brooklyn-based organization that helps researchers better discover and understand research articles through Smart Citations–citations that display the context of the citation and describe whether the article provides supporting or contrasting evidence. scite is used by students and researchers from around the world and is funded in part by the National Science Foundation and the National Institute on Drug Abuse of the National Institutes of Health.
