Structural response characteristics of TMA during water-entry procedure

Abstract:This work presents a comprehensive numerical investigation of the structural responses of the Trans-Medium Aircrafts (TMA) during a water-entry event and the max mises-stress, the acceleration, and the water-entry deepness are analyzed and discussed. The simulating finite element model of the elastic field and the fluid field are imitated and solved by the coupled euler lagrange (CEL) method. The water-entry velocity is set from 0 m/s to 8 m/s.
