“…In a post-disaster setting, the importance of sense of place and place attachment as determinants of community resilience appears to be intuitively recognised but poorly 'translated' into evidence because of its complexity and difficulties of quantification or representation to inform decisions and intervention strategies (Wester-Herber 2004;Gunderson & Watson 2007).
