Structure and dielectric properties of A-site-deficient perovskite Nd(1 − x)/3M x NbO3 (M = Li, Ag; 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.20) ceramics

Abstract: Crystal structure and dielectric properties of the A-site-deficient perovskites Nd (1 -x)/3 M x NbO 3 (M = Li, Ag; 0 B x B 0.20) ceramics were investigated with X-ray diffractometer (XRD), network analyzer, and impedance analyzer. XRD results showed that no secondary phase was observed for Ag-doped specimens. However, a second phase LiNdNb 2 O 7 appeared for Li-doped ones when x C 0.16. The crystal structure at room temperature transformed from orthorhombic (0 B x \ 0.16) into tetragonal symmetry (0.16 B x B 0… Show more

“…Chemical shifts of the starting materials and products were compared with data reported previously. [39] ESI-MS analyses: Complex 3 (1 mg) was dissolved in iPrOH (3 mL) at 50 8C and phenylboronic acid (7 mg), Bu 4 NF (50 mL), and 3-bromoanisole (7 mg) were added. MS spectra were recorded after 5, 20, and 35 min for samples (10 mL) diluted with iPrOH (1.5 mL) on an Apex-Qe Ultra 7T instrument (Bruker Daltonics, Germany) equipped with an ESI source.…”

“…Order-disorder transformation of A-site-deficient perovskites plays a significant role in conductivity of materials. The investigation of crystal structure and dielectric properties of the Nd (1-x)/3 M x NbO 3 (M = Li, Ag; 0 ≤ x ≤ 0.2) suggested that the dielectric loss majored by the lithium or silver ionic conduction at low frequencies [429]. Solid solution of AgNb/TaO 3based ceramics was then studied extensively [430,431].…”

“…[102] In addition to the surface bioelectrodes, the liquid metal could also be directly injected into the biological body to make 3D embedded medical electronics, such as the injectable electrodes at the target tissues shown in Figure 10d. [103] What's more, the liquid metal has potential as a new material to fabricate the microneedle electrode (Figure 10e). To solve the challenges and shortcomings faced by the traditional microneedle electrode manufacturing materials such as silicon (Si), polymers and rigid metals, Liu et al came up with an innovative method to manufacture 3D microneedle electrode arrays using the micro injection molding technology with Bi-In-Sn liquid metal at room temperature.…”
