“…The relationship between the anodic peak current I p and the scan rate v is shown in Fig.6 (5). The linear relationship between I p and v 1/2 indicates that the electrode reaction is controlled by proton diffusion [12,17]. According to RandleeSevcik equation [16,19], the anodic peak current I p and the scan rate v of the electrode system controlled by diffusion process follows the following relationship at room temperature (25 C):…”

“…Recent studies have shown that the structural stability and electrochemical performance for multi-doped a-Ni(OH) 2 are better than that for mono-doped a-Ni(OH) 2 [16]. In order to improve properties of nickel hydroxide, numerous studies have been carried out by partial substitution of Ni ion by two elements ions, such as AleY [17], CoeZn [18], AleCu [19], AleCo [20]. The results demonstrate that reasonable molar ratio of doped elements ions can produce synergic effect of lattice distortion, which can improve electrochemical performance by enhancing the structural stability, proton diffusion coefficient and decreasing electron transfer resistance.…”

“…5 Researchers at home and abroad have done a lot of studies to prepare stabilised a-Ni(OH) 2 . To prepare stable a-nickel hydroxide, partial substitution of Ni ions in Ni(OH) 2 lattice with Al, 3,6 Co, 7,8 Mn, 9 Cu, 10 Zn, 11 Fe, 12 Y 13 or multielement 14,15 has been extensively employed.…”
