Structure Formation and Properties of Concrete Based on Organic Hydraulic Binders

Abstract: The article addresses the issues of structure formation of road composite materials containing hydraulic (рortland cement) and organic (bitumen) binders. It has been determined that organic and hydraulic binders, being thermodynamically incompatible, are capable of interaction and complement each other. Structure formation processes are associated with interphase transition layers interaction mechanism and the direct formation of phase contacts with cement crystallohydrates. The interphase boundary is diffuse … Show more

“…Since the deformation of viscoplastic bonds results in the complete dissipation of the energy applied, it can theoretically be assumed that the n r and n v ratio is determined by the ratio of the dissipative energy to the applied energy. In this case, the amount of n r and n v depends, first of all, on the relaxation properties of asphalt concrete and the duration of the load, and the number of elastic bonds involved in the deformation process can be determined from the following relationship [11][12][13]:…”

“…of effective stresses to strength, the higher, the higher R c is, the greater will be the cyclic stability of asphalt concrete in the elastic stage of operation, and the greater the level of damage in the material can be achieved at the moment of failure. Therefore, the value of R c can serve as a criterion for the cyclic stability at constant stress in the elastic stage of work [11][12][13][14].…”

“…Start with, it is necessary to determine the area of research on methods of generalizing information on mass and heat transfer; factual materials and much more besides. The quantity of the patented road materials and the possibilities of experimental research can be brought into compliance by increasing the quality of experimental work or by optimizing the calculations [6][7][8][9][10].…”

“…This, in turn, reduces the environmental impact of the entire repair complex by reducing the frequency of these works. In the same context of reducing the environmental load from the creation of road asphalt concrete pavement, it is necessary to substantiate the possibility of involving waste asphalt concrete in the re-use of materials based on an assessment of changes in the concentration component of ACM exergy [7,8]. The above emphasizes the relevance of an objective quantitative determination of the assessment of thermodynamic efficiency of both ACM heat technology in general and its constituent stages, in particular.…”
