Abstract:The structure of adducts forming in the solution due to the interaction of bifunctional azo compounds (dimethylpyrazole (DMP) and diphenylformamidine (DPFA)) with hydrogen halides (HF, HCl, and HBr) is found from the data of the IR absorption spectra and quantum chemical calculations.
