Probing the Local Structure and Phase Transitions of Bi4V2O11‐Based Fast Ionic Conductors by Combined Raman and XRD Studies

“…The powder XRD data recorded at ambient temperature show the intense reflections attributable to the orthorhombic phase reported earlier . To confirm the exact unit cell of the ambient temperature phase of Bi 4 V 2 O 11 , the whole profile of the observed XRD data was refined by assuming different structural models, like orthorhombic ( Aba 2), orthorhombic ( Amam ), orthorhombic ( Pnma ), P 2 1 22 1 , monoclinic ( A 112), and monoclinic ( C 2 /m ). The observed powder XRD data agree well with the monoclinic A 112 as well as C 2 /m lattice reflections.…”
