Structure of iPP‐PS composites with specific dispersion of PS component

Abstract: The results of structure investigations of two‐component iPP‐PSa) systems obtained by UV‐initiated polymerization of liquid styrene diffused into unoriented and oriented iPP matrices have been presented. Initial structure of iPP matrices was modified by different preparation and various conditions of orientation. Presented results show that the final structure of the composites strongly depends on the initial structure of the matrices and employed conditions of styrene polymerization process.
