Structures and Instabilities in Reaction Fronts Separating Fluids of Different Densities

Abstract: Density gradients across reaction fronts propagating vertically can lead to Rayleigh–Taylor instabilities. Reaction fronts can also become unstable due to diffusive instabilities, regardless the presence of a mass density gradient.
