In the 21 st century, the processes of learning is redefined and modified with the advancement in educational technology. The limitations of physical environment are substituted by online environment by providing opportunities to interact and discuss more widely and constructively. Discussion of content, and application of content is gaining importance along with knowing the content. In present scenario one can access courses available online and participate in discussions which may result in knowledge accumulation, building professional relationships and exposure to one's own field. Research shows significance of online interactions in teacher education and how it is closely viewed from the lenses of Social Constructivist Theory. But limited research is conducted to know how online platforms and other factors affect interactions of student teachers and in-service teachers. The present research conducts a review analysis to know about the online platform and other factors which impact interactions of both student teachers and in-service teachers in technology-supported learning environment. Through observations it is concluded that knowledge sharing coupled with knowledge construction in groups/collaborative platforms need to be encouraged keeping in view the factors which influence such process. Social interactions are essential for professional growth but while including them in educational courses the attitudes, motivational levels of course participants should be taken into consideration. This will help adding value to the process.

En la educación en línea, una de las preocupaciones más relevantes es el aprendizaje significativo a partir de la aplicación de nuevas tecnologías para la adquisición y administración del conocimiento de manera autónoma por parte del estudiante. El trabajo colaborativo se ha incorporado en los cursos virtuales para apoyar el aprendizaje, de ahí la importancia de aplicar las estrategias adecuadas a través de un método pedagógico que logre medir el nivel de construcción del conocimiento. El uso de herramientas adecuadas mejora los resultados. La comunicación eficiente es una herramienta fundamental para transmitir ideas y tomar decisiones. En el entorno digital, la comunicación adopta múltiples lenguajes y formas, dependiendo de las personas que interactúan. En los cursos virtuales, las instituciones educativas han establecido un lenguaje común para facilitar la interacción. Las tecnologías en un ambiente virtual pueden mejorar significativamente la comunicación, siempre y cuando se mantenga la armonía y el respeto entre los interlocutores. Una de las ventajas de los Ambientes Virtuales de Aprendizaje (AVA) es la flexibilidad en cuanto a espacio y tiempo, aunque es necesario seguir un prototipo o lenguaje común para asegurar un flujo de información efectivo y una verdadera comunicación. Para lograr una comunicación eficaz, se profundiza en las normas de Netiqueta virtual, la rúbrica TIGRE y el modelo Gunawardena.

Bu çalışmada ortaokul öğrencilerinin anlık mesajlaşma uygulamalarından biri olan WhatsApp aracılığıyla oluşturulan bir sanal toplulukta matematik öğrenme deneyimlerine ilişkin düşünceleri ortaya çıkarılmaya çalışılmıştır. Durum çalışması olarak tasarlanan araştırmaya 27 ortaokul öğrencisi katılmıştır. Öğrencilerin topluluk içerisindeki etkileşimleri ve çalışma kapsamında tasarlanan matematiksel içeriklerin grupta paylaşılmasını temele alan bu araştırmada öğrencilerin deneyim ve gözlemleri incelenmiştir. Yarı yapılandırılmış mülakat formu aracılığıyla elde edilen verilerin Araştırma Topluluğu teorik çerçevesinde tanımlanan bilişsel, öğretimsel ve sosyal boyutlarda içerik çözümlemesi yapılmıştır. Çalışmanın sonuçlarına göre öğrenciler anlık mesajlaşma ortamını öğrenmeyi tamamlayıcı bir öğrenme ortamı olarak görmektedirler. Öğrenciler anlık mesajlaşma ortamında akademik sorunlarını ifade etmiş ve işbirlikli öğrenme yoluyla akranlarıyla tartışma fırsatı bulduklarını (bilişsel boyut) ifade etmiş, öğretmenlerini yol gösteren bir lider olarak tanımlamış (öğretimsel boyut), topluluğun sosyal ortamını eğlenceli bulmuş ve kendilerini ayrıcalıklı yapan bir toplulukta bulunmaktan memnun kaldıklarını (sosyal boyut) belirtmiştir.
