Abstract:Abstract. Antifungal azole is a class of synthetic antifungal agents used to prevent or treat fungal infections. It is the first-line treatment for prophylactic and therapy of invasive fungal infections. Topical formulations of azole drugs in conventional dermatological products have been shown to possess limited skin penetration. This can result in reduced therapeutic effects.
