Studies in polarography. Part 1.—The rotating platinum electrode

Abstract: The paper describes a series of experiments with the rotating platinum electrode. It has been found that by use of a platinum anode, cathodic pre-polarization, and the use of only the leading edge of the cathode, well-defined reproducible polarograms for mercury, gold, silver, copper, lead, thallium and cadmium can be obtained.
