Studies on Stannic Selenoarsenate. II. Separation of Uranium from Numerous Metal Ions

Abstract: Stannic selenoarsenate has been synthesized by adding 0.05 M sodium selenite and 0.05 M sodium arsenate to a 0.05 M solution of stannic chloride in a volume ratio of 1:l:l at pH 1. A tentative structure has been proposed on the basis pf chemical composition, pH titrations, and infrared and thermogravimetric analyses.
