Abstract:Nano‐ferrites with composition Mg0.55Cu0.05Zn0.4YbxFe2‐xO4 (where x = 0.0, 0.01, 0.02, and 0.03) are prepared by chemical method. The single‐phase cubic spinel structure ferrite formation is confirmed from X‐ray diffraction (XRD) analysis. The lattice constant and crystallite size of Mg–Cu–Zn ferrites found to be decreases with increasing concentration of Yb3+ content.
