Abstract:Chemical investications were carried out on wool of sheep parasitized by flukes. The comparison of the results of the study on the Australian merino wool with 13 kinds of Japanese wool are summarized as follows; 1) Kempy wool content in the inflicted wool is higher than in the merino.2) Grease content is poorer than in the merino.3) Total nitrogon and diamino acid-nitrogen contents are poorer, but amide-nitrogen and mono amino acid-nitrogen contents are richer than in the merino.
