“…The decomposition temperature at 5% weight loss is 298, 321, and 332 °C for PDMS‐PU‐1, PDMS‐PU‐2, and PDMS‐PU‐3, respectively. This is because thermal stability of PDMS is superior to PU . The bond strength of silicon oxygen bond is higher than CC bond, so that the degradation temperature of PDMS is significantly higher than that of polymer containing CC bond.…”

“…The interaction between the silicones molecular is very weak, because the polarities of the siloxane bonds is offset from each other in the ordered molecular structure of the helical crimp of the linear polysiloxane . And the nonpolar groups are arranged in the outer side of the spiral of the main chain of silicon, the polarity of the silicone bonds from the shield effect, so the entire polysiloxane molecular showed nonpolar, intermolecular force is weak, showing low cohesive energy density, so the mechanical property of silicone is poor . This is the very reason why the tensile strength of samples becomes weaker and weaker along with the ever‐increasing contents of PDMS.…”

“…The PDMS precursor exhibited a thickness of 700 ± 100 nm on PET fibers (Figure S2). The cross-linking mechanism of PDMS exposed to high-energy radiation has been intensively studied previously. ,, Generally, the PDMS precursor simultaneously underwent dissociation, polymerization, and silicification in an Ar plasma atmosphere, while the dissociation includes dehydrogenation and demethylation. Compared with oxygen plasma treatment or chemical cross-linking, a new peak of r (CH 2 ) at 779.4 cm –1 appeared after Ar plasma treatment (Figure S3).…”
