Study of Andhra Pradesh Clays, Part II—Defferential Thermal Analysis of Clay fractions

Abstract: Five samples of clays from K.amthana, Shekapur, Pachgaon, Srirangpur and Chintriyal were fractionated· by gravitational sedimentation and centrifugation methods to concentrate the clay mineral c.omponents, and the various fractions obtained were subjected to DT A. Shekapur clay. containing large quantities of impurities could be improved considerably by fractionation.
