Abstract:Caffeine and coumarin are organic compounds of plant origin, which have biological activity and have found wide application in medicine, pharmaceutical, perfumery and food industries. Recovery of caffeine and coumarin from aqueous solutions using liquid-liquid extraction is the most effective method.
