“…The identification of FexCa1−xCO3, which is an intermediate compound between CaCO3 and FeCO3, is obtained based on the XRD results of Esmaeely et al [8]. The Ca1.11Mn0.89(CO3)2 identified in the corrosion scale may be related to the dissolution of MnS in X100 pipeline steel [22,23].
