Abstract:Background: Electroencephalogram (EEG) remains a veritable tool in the diagnostic workup of seizures and childhood epileptic syndromes. EEG has a significant role in substantiating the clinical suspicion of epilepsy, the classification of seizures, and the management of childhood epilepsy.
