Abstract:The kinetics of the redox Fe2+/ Fe3+ reaction on a platinum electrode in 1 M HClO4 was studied by the chronoamperometric method in the presence of the hexylamine surfactant. The main kinetic characteristics of the reaction have been estimated. The dependence of the exchange current density on the hexylamine concentration was analyzed.
