Abstract: Pogostemon cablin Benth. (Lamiaceae) is the source of patchouli essential oil, which is an important and unique commodity in the fragrance industry. Patchouli plants are also cultivated on inceptisol with low nutrient content and CEC exchange. The use of mycorrhiza is expected to increase nutrient absorption, and plant performance of patchouli.
