Study of mechanical characteristics and microstructure on ZM21 alloy with Tricalcium Phosphate using Friction stir processing

Abstract: Friction stir processing (FSP) at 1120 rpm was performed to refine surface characteristics of a magnesium alloy which included tri-calcium phosphate. Hardness tests showed that measurements of average hardness and the hardness of the surface layer have been significantly altered by the dispersed nanoparticles.
