Abstract: The use of novel psychoactive substances (NPSs) has dramatically increased worldwide, and among them, synthetic opioids are one of the fastest growing groups, where cinnamylpiperazines and 2‐benzylbenzimidazoles represent two of the most relevant subclasses.
