Abstract: The resistance to antibiotics in Gram-negative bacilli causing sepsis is a warning sign of failure of therapy. Klebsiella pneumoniae (K. pneumoniae) and Escherichia coli (E. coli) represent major Gram-negative bacilli associated with sepsis.
