“…The most common drug used by respondents were paracetamol which is could be administered either alone or in combination with other medicines for treating various types of illness such as headache, muscular pain, flu, dental pain, secondly the most commonly used drug was antibiotic, these results were similar in the study conducted in Tumkur city, India and Nigeria (18,20,21). Whoever, Chua S and Sabki N (2011) showed that central nervous system (CNS) medications especially oral analgesics were the most common type of non-prescription medication used by the general public.…”
