Abstract:The purpose of the study was to understand the molecular changes that happen in human cancer, P53 gene mutation. Here, with respect to P53 immunohistochemical staining were taken into consideration as the surrogate for the mutational analysis. This was used for the diagnosis of ovarian cancer. The main aim of the study was to evaluate the immunohistochemical frequency of the P53 and to correlate its expression with the prognosis.
